We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Learning for All Capacity Building Course, a modular, self-paced training programme designed for adult education professionals seeking to better support migrant, refugee, and underrepresented learners.
This course is now live and free to access through the Learning for All project website.
What is the course about?
The Capacity Building Course equips adult learning staff, including educators, support teams, managers, and outreach workers, with the tools, concepts, and real-life strategies to create more inclusive, equitable learning environments.
Each module addresses a different key area of inclusion:
Module 1: Building Inclusive Capacity
A starting point for reflecting on your organisation’s strengths and gaps in inclusive practice.
Module 2: Intercultural Communication
How to understand, navigate, and respond to cultural differences in the adult learning environment.
Module 3: Inclusive Digital Pedagogies
Guidance on digital equity, accessibility, and using tech to include—not exclude—learners.
Module 4: Inclusive Pedagogy
Practical tips to create learner-centred classrooms and use varied teaching methods that engage all learners.
Module 5: Community Engagement
How to work beyond the classroom and build local support networks that benefit learners.
Module 6: Outreach Strategies
Techniques for engaging harder-to-reach groups, building trust, and designing outreach that truly works.
Each module is supported by case studies, mini tasks, real-life stories from the field, and downloadable content. The course is self-paced and flexible, designed to fit around the working life of busy education professionals.
