In person meeting in Ireland - November 2024

In November 2024, partners from Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Germany and Spain joined our Irish team in Leitrim for a two-day working meeting focused on Work Package 4: Capacity Building. The main objective of the meeting was to advance the development of the Learning for All Online Course, one of the project’s core outputs.

This course aims to upskill adult education staff across all roles, educators, managers, administrative teams, and outreach officers, equipping them with practical tools to foster inclusion and promote structural change within their organisations. It builds directly on the needs identified through our earlier benchmarking work and consultation with adult education centres.

Over the two days, we made excellent progress on the structure, content, and interactive features of the course. Partners shared pedagogical ideas, agreed on practical case studies to be included, and aligned the course with real-world challenges faced by staff supporting migrant and refugee learners.

The meeting was hosted by Momentum in Leitrim, who ensured a warm welcome and an efficient working environment. The collaboration and input from all present helped ensure that the course will be practical, accessible, and grounded in the real-life contexts of adult education providers across Europe.

This milestone brings us closer to offering an impactful learning experience that supports staff at all levels to embed inclusion into every aspect of their organisation.
